Eric Ruckle was first introduced to Lean in the aerospace industry. He’s worked with manufacturers, financial firms, scientific labs, and (literally) rocket scientists. For the last year plus, he’s been implementing Lean in an information technology provider and overseeing their day-to-day operations.
If you’ve been to many presentations, you know the speaker’s experience and material is only part of the equation. Eric’s been a speaker and trainer of other speakers for over twenty years. He mixes in stories, audience interaction, and analogies to keep the audience awake and engaged. (Don’t get him going on the analogies.)
Speaking fees are adjustable based on your situation. Smaller organizations sometimes have tighter budgets. Some want longer presentations or multiple sessions. Some schedule presentations during monthly meetings and others turn them into special events.
Whatever the fee we settle on, it will include the presentation itself and all travel related expenses.
Audiences generally retain information better if they see it, as well as hear it. That said, you know your members. We’ll determine if they’ll respond better to a Powerpoint show or something simpler, like a whiteboard or flipcharts. Whether we use Powerpoint or not, a copy of the show will be given to you for distribution.
We’ve all felt the discomfort of a speaker who begins selling something. The presentation itself is the product. No sales pitch.
Sometimes, there are other local meetings that might benefit your organization. If you’re curious about that, we can discuss it in our initial phone call. Additional meetings might affect travel costs, but won’t adjust the speaking fee itself.
