Can Lean Help?
Given its flexibility, Lean can help any business. The system isn’t the issue. The key is knowing why your members might be interested in Lean. What are they trying to do? What challenges are they facing? What are they willing to consider and what’s out of bounds? In an initial phone call, we’ll talk about your members and how you want to help them. By the end of that conversation, we’ll know if it’s worth exploring further.
How Does LeanAmigo Work?
Once you’ve booked a date, we’ll work together to promote it. What we learned in our first call gets translated into bullet points for your marketing. You choose the target audience, group size, and whether you charge for attendance. Prior to the event, we can hold “warm-up calls” with key members. Those members would then be used as positive local examples. This also helps build attendance and seeds the audience with friendly faces.
What Does it Look Like?
The presentation itself uses a story-based approach to cover 1) the basics of Lean, 2) improving processes, 3) building a Lean culture, and 4) using financials and strategic planning to run the business. Attendees will be able to take extensive notes…or pick and choose the one or two ideas that apply most to them. The atmosphere is conversational and highly interactive. The audience can pose questions throughout or wait until an open discussion at the end.
